Second, I am beside myself with joy at the news that the short-lived series Miracles -- I gave it a 9/10 rating, if you are interested in a review -- is coming to DVD in April, complete with its never-before-aired episodes. This is genre news worth celebrating. Congratulations to all of the fans whose support helped to make this happen.
Third, Revolution Science Fiction has added its latest installment of its "Top 75 Heroines of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror" countdown with the new Part IV. My contributions include the sections on Éowyn from The Lord of the Rings and Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series.
Fourth, I've added Xanadu 8/DeepSouthCon 43 to the list of conventions where I'll be speaking this summer.
And last, a quote of the day:
"...Let the future remain uncertain
For that is the canvas to receive our desires.
Thus the human condition faces
Its perpetual tabula rasa.
We possess no more than this moment
Where we dedicate ourselves
Continuously
To the sacred presence we share and create."
