For Sale (books!)

I have few copies of different texts from my last book signing, and before I packed these off for the next event, I thought I would mention them here. If you happen to be interested in any of these, please let me know. All comments are screened so only I can see them. Thanks!

* I have a couple of copies of The Magic Ring by Baron de la Motte Fouqué, which I edited, that I can sell (signed and personalized, if you wish) for $15 (including shipping within the U.S. - global shipping will be a bit more, so ask for details). Additional information on the book is here.

* I also have a copy of Apex Science Fiction and Horror Digest Issue #8 (Winter 2006), which includes my article "'Strange and Fearful Imaginations': Rediscovering the Terror of Baron de la Motte Fouqué" with illustrations. It's a total of 128 pages, and I can sell it (signed and personalized, if you wish) for $6 (including shipping within the U.S. - global shipping will be a bit more, so ask for details).

* I also hace a copy of Tolkien on Film: Essays on Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings, which includes my chapter "Make Mine Movieverse: How the Tolkien Fan Fiction Community Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Peter Jackson," that I can sell (signed and personalized, if you wish) for $12 (including shipping within the U.S. - global shipping will be a bit more, so ask for details). Additional information on the book is here.

A couple of quick notes:

* Unlocking Harry Potter: Five Keys for the Serious Reader by John Granger debuted from Zossima Press on March 1. The editor kindly sent me a PDF sample of the first seventeen pages, and encouraged me to share it. If anyone is interested in the Table of Contents and Introduction to this wonderful book, please comment or drop me an email, and I will send the PDF to you.

* A statue of Treebeard will be erected in the Birmingham suburb where J.R.R. Tolkien grew up. (Thanks to wellinghall for the news.)

* The SFWA has announced this year's Final Nebula Awards ballot.
