* My latest segment on StarShipSofa went up today and is a discussion of the genre ancestors of Agents Mulder and Scully of The X-Files -- in other words, a whirlwind tour of the history of science fiction investigators in literature and film. It begins about 13 minutes into the podcast. You can download it here, listen to it streaming here, or get it via iTunes under "StarShipSofa."
* I am deeply gratified by Jeff Carlson's kind review of my dramatic reading of his story "Frozen Sky" on StarShipSofa. I don't know about the accent question, but I am delighted for my narration to be called "cool, poised, and totally hot," not to mention "hands-down superior"! Thank you, Mr. Carlson!
* Two remarkable people whose works have greatly affected and moved me over the years are gone. They will be missed.

I hope all of you are well. I'll catch you on the flip side! Back to the conference...
