Fan Auction to Help Haiti

I'm getting ready to go to MarsCon, but before I leave I want to be sure to let you know about a new fan-organized auction called help_haiti. Winning bidders can donate directly to their choice from among a variety of recognized charities currently offering assistance to the people of Haiti. The items up for auction include fiction, food, audio offerings, and art and graphics, as well as miscellaneous items and services. The auction ends on Wednesday, January 20.

I've put up for the auction a new, signed, and (if so desired) personalized copy of my new 2009 co-edited book The Intersection of Fantasy and Native America: From H.P. Lovecraft to Leslie Marmon Silko. Bidding starts at $8 and can be found here.

"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.”
