The Princeton experience was extremely satisfying and productive. I was especially happy that it included a lovely dinner and news-filled visit with

In other news, Glass Hammer now has sound samples online from its new CD The Inconsolable Secret, which is also available for pre-order. The band will perform music from this album live at Belmont University during the "Past Watchful Dragons" conference in November 2005.
In honor of Glass Hammer, a quote for the day:

Too true. But if this Princeton thing becomes an annual event, we can fix that.
Next year: the shore!
Wow. That's just... Wow.
"More Than This," Roxy Music
I've been listening to this song (not even the whole album) for the past two weeks. ??? Have you heard the 10,000 Maniacs version? Certainly not as good, and yet... I keep listening to it over and over.
Isn't it? I feel the same way.
Oh, wow, we're on the exact same musical wavelength! What are the odds? I somehow missed the 10,000 Maniacs' version of "More Than This" (how did that happen?), but now I must hear it. At the moment I'm veering back and forth between Roxy Music's "More Than This" and "Avalon" (which I can listen to for approximately six straight weeks without a break, if left to my own devices, LOL). I know what you mean about the "over and over" phenomenon!
