Happy Wednesday! Have a trailer. Take two: they're small.

Whew! The conference was fantastic, but the snowpocalypse made it a challenge to get home. Now I'm scurrying around trying to catch up with the correspondence and work that accumulated in the interim. Next up: I'm diving headlong into a new Mysterious Project of Mystery... *rubs hands together in glee*

For now, here are a few things that make me happy. I hope they make you happy, too!

* Loncon 3, the 72nd World Science Fiction Convention, will be in London. (I'll be there! Will you? I hope so!) The academic program is offering the opportunity for scholars from across the globe to share their ideas with their peers and convention attendees: check out the call for papers here.

* The rumor (straight from Benedict Cumberbatch's lips) is that a fourth series of Sherlock is confirmed.

* The new trailer for Star Trek into Darkness looks amazing. I'm especially pleased with how it highlights Pike's mentorship of Kirk.

* And speaking of trailers, here's one for Joss Whedon's new adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing. I'm looking forward to seeing this.
