My RavenCon Schedule

I'm very excited about heading off shortly to a truly fantastic convention, RavenCon. This year's schedule looks terrific! I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there.

I plan to post updates from the con on my Twitter feed.

Here is the schedule of my events at the con:

5pm: "Sherlock Holmes and Science Fiction" (This is my solo presentation.)
7pm: Opening Ceremonies

11am: "Star Wars Literature: New Canon and Legends" (I'm moderating this panel.)
2pm: "Going Where No Man Has Gone Before: Roddenberry's Star Trek vs. Abrams' Star Trek" (I'm moderating this panel.)
5pm: "Podcasting"

A bit OT, but I noticed on your Twitter that podcast/site for Your Remarkable Adventure. I desperately need something like this to get me out of my own head and life situation right now. I will check it out. Thanks.

Oh, I'm glad to hear you'll check it out! Thanks. Everything Tony does tends to be a class act, and I've really enjoyed the first two episodes. I like that each is a stand-alone interview, so you can listen to shows out of order or pick and choose which "adventure" is interesting to you. It really is a wonderful way to step outside daily life and get an entirely different perspective.

I also really appreciate that many of these adventurers have websites and Twitter accounts, etc., in order to allow people from all over the world to follow them, see their photos, read their updates, and experience their journeys at no cost. That's such a gift!

I hope you enjoy it, too.

Looks like it's a great con. Have fun! And I'd love to attend, especially to hear your panel, "Going Where No Man Has Gone Before: Roddenberry's Star Trek vs. Abrams' Star Trek". I'd find that very interesting!

Thanks! Yes, I'm pretty curious and excited myself to see where that Trek conversation goes.

Might be tricky for me to make some of those. Here's my game running schedule:

Friday 2000: Battle Merchants
Saturday 0900: A Touch of Evil: Dark Gothic
Saturday 1300: Colt Express
Saturday 2000: Medieval Academy
Sunday 0900: The Doom That Came to Atlantic City
Sunday 1300: Little Dead Riding Hood

I bet you're going to have a blast with that schedule! Enjoy. If nothing else, we can trade high fives (or dark and haunted eldritch looks, LOL) as we pass in the hallways. ;) May be both emerge with sanity intact!
